God The Father
The love of a parent is so unconditional and strong that they will give their very life for their children no matter the circumstance. They were young their selves and had parents who loved and cared for them unconditionally also. When they married and beget children themselves their life changed and became parents and their life as they new it changed. They now had children that they had to raise, train, discipline and keep safe. Love was there unconditionally. Their children were their life now. They were now understanding what it meant to be a parent just as their parents did. Some have children with no Mother or Father in their household. That same parent still takes their responsibility very serious. Their life is now not their own because now they are responsible for the gift God (ABBA) The Father has given them. However children need both Mother and Father in the household for true nurturing and up bringing to allow them to be parents as well with love unconditionally and responsibility also.
When our children stray from us and how we taught them, it hurts us. We begin to be concerned. For their safety and future. We as children do this naturally because of our first set of parents in the beginning of life on earth. But as we get older, we become wiser with more understanding. This reflects how God (ABBA) The Father feels about us. He wants to protect us and keep us safe and wants a future for us. He mourns as we do when we lose a child or one who has strayed from His teaching and get lost. He will do whatever it takes to get His children back but they have to be willing to come back or other wise they are lost forever. And so great a loss it is.
God sent His own Son to die for the penalty that was due us for disobedience. Discipline is love correcting us when we have disobeyed. He so longs for us to come to our senses and return home where we belong. So to really understand God is to be a parent and accept that He has our best interest for us. Also to return home we receive Christ Jesus as His Son who come to the earth in the flesh and died on the cross for our penalty of sin and rose to life again and is now seated at the right hand of God (ABBA) The Father. Through this we return to The Father and have salvation in Him for life eternal.
