When we hear good news there is always a choice to be made. Are we to believe it or do we choose to believe something else. This has been a right of passage for thousands of years and with so many different perspectives of each person it can be taken many ways. Some consider it good news, some consider it bad news and some do not know what to think but all in all a choice is to be made.
We spoke on choices in a previous post and I want to further emphasize about the choices we make and how they affect our life. My first example is Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The first people of earth who were given instructions by God, yet they chose to disobey which lead to a result of people losing eternal life and putting at to war with an unseen enemy and between ourselves. Adam chose to blame his wife even though he knew it was his choice to disobey.
Then there was Noah who chose to obey God and build an Ark. His choice saved he and his family which in turn saved us all from annihilation. God chose to save us instead of annihilating us. His decision saved us all. Then there was Abraham who chose to listen to God and leave his fathers house and go where God lead him. In his eyes he was not just wandering the earth for a homeland but listened to God and chose to believe God and follow Him. His faith and choice carried him even to the point of sacrificing his own son because God told him to. He obeyed and because of that obedience Issac his son was saved by God. And out of Abraham's seed grew a nation that is alive today.
Then we have Jesus who was born of a virgin (Mary) who chose to believe The Angel Gabriel who told her she would bare a son who would be The Son of God. Jesus who is The Son of God came to this earth to sacrifice His life for the sake of the world and those who live in it. He made a choice to obey God The Father and fulfill what was commanded of Him and in doing so He saved us all and is seated at the right hand of God. And through Him we have eternal life. Restored back to before the original downfall of Adam and Eve.
These are just a few examples of who made choices and reaped the out come as we have of those choices they made. All choices made affect all of us in some way or another. Just as the choices we make affect others near and far, this generation or the next. Our choices have great impacts on this world.
I did not add scripture to this post because I want you to get in to the bible and search out what I have spoken of here and see if it lines up with it. For every word must be lined up with God's word or else it is wrong. Don't just take me at my word, search it out and learn for yourself. Then you will be able to see that the choices you make affects all.
God Bless and have a wonderful day.
