The "SEED", the word of God

           The Seed, the word of God is it in you?

          The seed, the word of God was planted starting a little over two thousand years ago by Jesus the Christ.When Jesus the Christ walked in His ministry on this earth was laying seed every where He went. So that people would hear the word and let it sink in to be saved and change their lives by the truth that was given to them. In Luke chapter 8 Jesus the Christ talks about the seed being sown and those who receive it and those who do not. We all have had the seed given to us at one point or another in our life time. But what did we do with it? 

                                                                     

The Seed

Did the seed fall on hard ground to be trampled under feet or eaten up by others? Did it fall among the rocks and after time just wither a way? Did it fall among weeds ( life's challenges) and get choked out? Or did it fall into good soil where you took it in and watered it and cared for it so that it would be fruitful in your life? Jesus wept because He knew that many would not take it to heart and live out the purpose of it. We see this today to those who do hear yet because their life is so full and busy with other things they can not take it in or even care to. 

                                                                         

The seed was also given to a rich young ruler in the Bible but because he had gained so much wealth and it is his life he could let let it go and take the seed given to him to redeem his soul. Today this is all so true. We amass so much stuff  ( money, social life, life being to busy with other things ) that we do not have time for anything else. We have joined the world of be busy, be about ourselves, be of something other than the word of God.

If Jesus the Christ returned today would be filled with the seed He planted or would we be to busy with other things to notice?  Because at that time it could be to late  and lose our salvation (redemption). It is hard for me to watch as even family members deny the word of God and so I will not be even be able to enjoy them in the after life from here on earth. My heart just like God's (Jesus the Christ) cries for those who will not be with us. This is the mourning of creation. God did create the heavens and the earth and us who are in it. He wants us home with Him. Not being lost forever,

                                                                     

Busy Lifestyle

What sad days these are to witness and know what will become of those who do not take the seed      ( word of God ) to heart. We pray for their hurts, pains, lies and deceptions but not their salvation. What a wicked generation we are. We are just as responsible for not sharing what we freely have been given when we had the chance. We will be accountable for this in that day. This is part of the seed being received in our hearts (lives).
