The Word of God is Jesus!

We see in scripture Jesus being called the Word. It took me some time to really get this realization in my head. My heart accepted it easily but the head well was logical. So I dug deep into scripture to search this out and make it logical. What I found was there was no logic to it. It all had to do with Faith. When I could get my head to understand like my heart then it was easily accessible to me. I had to start at the end and work my way back and then back to the end to be able to see how it all lined up and made sense.

I learned in this process how we as humans use logical sense and make things difficult for ourselves to understand. This is what Jesus meant He said we must come to Him as little children. As children we see things as they truly are. We have eyes,ears, fingers and hearts as little children. It is when we learn what our parents teaches us and what the world has taught them do we lose reality and sense of God. We see things as the world does.
God created us and by His Word He created us in His image and likeness did He create us and everything else did He create.

 John 1:1-3  (1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

  (2) He was with God in the beginning. (3) Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Gen 1:1-3 (1) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

 (2) Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

 (3) And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

God spoke everything into existence by His Word. There was nothing done or created without Him speaking His Word.

There is where we get there is power in the tongue but that's for another post on another day. 

2 Peter 3:5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's Word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.

 Rev 19:13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.

We can see through scripture which we call the Word of God. That everything is done by His Word. He spoke Jesus in being before the very beginning. 

The Prophets of God spoke of Jesus's coming and what He would go through and do by God speaking to them to reveal it to man so they could have hope for the future and promises fulfilled. He spoke to the Prophets of the Messiah (Christ), the Redeemer who would redeem man back unto Himself. Only and heir could redeem man. So God had to produce a Son of Himself for this to take place.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

We needed a Saviour  His Word who is Jesus our Saviour so that  we could be redeemed back unto Him and have eternal life. Life without end.
