Why was my heart misleading me?

                               Our hearts can mislead us?

  We put things into our heart by what we watch, hear and do. The things of this world will mislead us and keep us going astray. Apparently we are not being taught the truth about life and why we are here. Living our life's to the worlds standards is very empty and leads to death. Lies have become truths, wrong things have become right and the list goes on. When we are born we are born with innocents and knowing nothing but truth. It is what we are taught that takes us to who we are.
However there is a truth that is truth that leads us to life and an abundant life. It is the life and Spirit of Jesus Christ. He knew that in order to save us from death, He would have to come to earth in the flesh and overcome it for us, because we were weak and did not overcome our tempter. He walked with us and taught us the ways of The Father who sent Him. He was the Baptiser of The Holy Spirit. He died on a cross which was the curse of sin, yet He was sinless. He had to take this to the cross in order for the law to be fulfilled. He was barried in a borrowed tomb and rose to life of His own resurrecting power that we would have that same power if we believed and followed Him.
So this transforming power takes us and transforms us into His likeness and perfects us, so that we may carry on His work of saving the world. It takes time to transform and that is why He extends us His grace. For His grace is sufficient for us. We become sealed with His promise to live with Him forever.
The things of this world are temporary but He is everlasting. No greater love than He who lays down His life for another. So He has redeemed us to restore us to The Father and Him.
So if you find your heart empty and misleading you. Turn to the one who change it all for you.
