God can change anyone! Pt 2

  It's amazing the daily changes God does in us.

  I left off with God bringing me into a season of stripping and rest. It is always a difficult thing going through a stripping process because we are so accustom to some things in our life and habits. It's never a one step process. We didn't get this way in one night either so it takes time to strip away the things God wants to remove. When I Met my second wife we were just friends because that was all I could handle. I never wanted another relationship or marriage but God had other ideas and so the stripping process began. In marriage it takes the two learning how to become one and that's not very easy because the two are so different and the clashing starts to happen over a period of time. 

It's a choice to make the marriage work and really learn how to love but the rewards are well worth it as time goes on. Anyways I was struggling with this and let me start by telling how we met and were brought together. While I was in ministry I also was ministering online. I met my wife online in a website I ministered on and she was looking for a gathering because she was a new Christian. We found out that we only lived one and a half miles apart. I invited her to the gathering I was ministering at, she accepted and we met in person. 

She was just another person for me to minister to but God had other ideas. I had had lots of other women coming up to me and telling me that God said to them that I was to be their husband. I would turn them all down and let them know I had no intentions of remarrying or have a intimate relationship with anyone except God. So after about six months my wife told me she had had a dream about me and God showed her what I looked like and that I was her new husband. She had received prophecies about this as well. I told her just like the others I had no intentions of ever being married again. She would join me on ministry outings and attend the gathering that ministered in and attended. Everyday God had news of what was going to happen and so I knew what to expect but He was working behind the scenes that I knew nothing about. 

I was being stripped and didn't realize it at first. God was pairing us together and I had no clue to what He was doing. So in time God had revealed to me that He was pairing us together and I rejected that for a time until He knocked me on my knees and told  me who was I to turn down the plans He had for me so I accepted reluctantly but I did accept it and told her what had happened and then she became reluctant also. So we went to a friends gathering that I knew and he had a Prophet from another gathering speaking that night and he spoke over my wife and I not knowing who we were. He spoke exactly what God had spoken to me and that sealed the deal for her and I. We left and talked about what was happening and what God was expecting from us. It was not about us but about God and His plans. We made a covenant with each other and God and were married.

Then came the season of rest as it was supposed to be. We were learning each other as we do still today and learning how to just love each other and work it out. It was definitely a challenge. God instituted marriage and it was definitely a work out from day one. I am able to understand Adam when God brought Eve to him.
