Why are we not as faithful as John The Baptist?
John the Baptist came in humbleness and lived that way through his whole entire Ministry preaching the good news of Jesus Christ ( the coming Saviour ). In scripture it say he lived on water locusts and wild honey. How is it that our Ministers today live extravagantly and preach the good news of Jesus Christ who has already come and is going to return again.
Also in scripture it talks about how humbly the Apostles of Jesus Christ lived and preached the good news of Jesus Christ saving grace and His return. Even Paul when he was transformed by Jesus Christ lived a humble life preaching the saving grace and Jesus Christ return.
They all lived humbly with just what they needed to live. God provided everything they needed through the body of Jesus Christ. They all sold what they had and pooled together with the body of Jesus Christ to meet the needs of those who had need.
How is it now that today there are gatherings (churches) that are every where who bring people into their congregations and receive tithes and offerings and live lavished lifestyles but the needy go without. How are our gatherings (churches) today following Jesus Christ plan of the body and meeting the needs of those who need and training and sending out Evangelists to preach the good news of Jesus Christ.
Today I see Gatherings (churches) growing richer and communities growing needier and people dying in our own communities from lack of love and provision. The Government of the US has taken on this responsibility that it was not designed to do. Jesus Christ designed the Church to do this and fulfill His work while He is in heaven awaiting His return. He will not find the Church as He left it but will find rich gatherings not doing as He commanded.
Scripture tells us we are our Brothers keeper but Jesus Christ will find that we have imprisoned our Brothers and Sisters for our own greediness. Killing them for what we want. We are not acting as God's children but Satan's children.
Scripture and time has shown us that real evangelists has lived humble lives with God providing them their every need. They did not rely on people because they knew people would let them down but God was and is always faithful for they were doing as commanded by Jesus Christ. Our world today says think about yourself and get rich. They do not realize God owns everything including us.
Do not follow man but Jesus Christ and His example of how we should live. Man can not teach you what God has for you. Only His Holy Spirit can and does this. Anything else is of Satan.
We do have true scriptural gatherings (churches) that follow the example of the Original Gatherings of Jesus Christ Body (church) where needs are met in the community and training and sending out Real Evangelists into the world to preach the good news of Jesus Christ and set up Original gatherings (churches) as set by the Apostles and Jesus Christ were communities thrive.
Go and find a true gathering and witness real love and Jesus Christ at work in the community and meeting the needs of those who are in need. Become a part of a true gathering and live life as Jesus Christ taught us to.
As for me and my house we will serve The Lord Jesus Christ and His way!
